The Brazilian Pepper Bush was used by the Amazon tribes to treat wounds and coughs, in amongst others, primarily because it is such a strong anti microbial. It can be used in a diffuser for respiratory problems or ingested. We mix it in our butters for skin conditions such as acne or eczema. Recent studies have found it to kill bacteria resistant to anti biotics.
